A thought which only gained momentum through a statement put forth by the CEO, wherein he ended up saying, “One of the most powerful ways to attract clients is by delivering superior tech support. Different from other traditional instructor-led training programs, this new program involves asking agents to actively participate in their learning through tasks such as simulations, role plays and e-learning. In addition, the learning application also ends up giving agents an opportunity to complete courses from their desks so they can meet ongoing skill enhancement needs. Boost your Productivity Big Time via Microsoft Support from PCCare247

Windows, the highly cherished and beloved OS from the Microsoft stable is also not free from its own set of follies. And when glitches and errors do hit the system hard, you can rest assure your productivity is bound to go for a toss. Microsoft Tech SupportSo, just to end up making things more productive for you, we are recommending steps which would allow you to launch an easy search for files, print faster and take the overall efficiency to the next level. Well, then just to go ahead we are indeed pointing out some easy steps out for you. Starting with:

  • Printing via Windows Explorer :In case if you want to print a Word document there is no need for you to open up the document and then give a print command. For what you can simply do is just make a right-click on the word document in the Windows Explorer and simply give a print command. The step will automatically send your document to the printer without even launching the application.

  • Tag programs to the Start Menu: According to Microsoft support professionals tagging programs to the start menu is the best way of quickly starting programs up. And in order to do that all you need to do is just click on Start Go to All Programs Locate a favorite program Right click on it and select the option “pin to start menu”. So the next time onwards when you would want to start the program you can end up saving a lot of time which otherwise would go into searching for the program.

In order to undo the same step just go ahead and make a right click on the program and select the unpin option from the start menu or one which says remove the program from the list.

  • Sending mail anywhere from the desktop : A file can be sent in a jiffy and the best way of going about it is to locate the file on the computer Do a right click Select the option Send to and click on Mail Recipient. This step ends up opening a mail message with an attached file you intend to send. The really good thing about this step is you don’t end up opening a mail program; all for the simple reason that at any point in time only a single message is sent.

But then again for all those who feel some issues are still lingering and Windows is functioning well below its optimum capacity can go ahead and get in touch with PCCare247. Considered as a blue-chip entity where high-end Microsoft Support is delivered round-the-clock no matter what.

Computer support takes the road less travelled with PCCare247

Computer support
The other day my desktop wasn’t working properly and I kept on trying the vendor’s helpline but I couldn’t manage to get through. Frustration was taking its toll on me and escalation through internet groups wasn’t helping things out either. And finally when things turned to despair, I set up myself for the long haul. Yes, it might sound weird but getting in touch with the CEO of the PC vendor was my only semblance of hope for salvaging the situation.

Well, now when I reflect back on the scenario, I would say it wasn’t all that farfetched, considering the fact that everything is deep entrenched into IT and one simply can’t do with service interruptions happening at all levels. Moreover, even the slightest of flaws plaguing computer support can end up turning out to be a matter of life or death.

PCCare247 acted as a second line of defense:

A good majority of vendors specializing in after sales computer support concentrate on first-call closure by using pre-planned scripts.  The ticket is then again passed on to the second or third line support if there is still no resolution in sight. But then again what if the server or data center doesn’t resolve the issue, the ticket is still open and the client has no answer whatsoever. Leading to a situation where I thanked my lucky stars that the issue on hand was escalated to a premier third party vendor such as PCCare247.

Having best personnel on hand always helps:

The golden rule of high-end computer support demands the best technicians to be on hand as and when the situation demands it.  And as I also found out many tech companies such as PCCare247 were more than willing to provide direct lines for their own TOC (Technical Operations Centre). Staffed 24x7, the techies at the organization were more than happy to provide expert solutions round-the-clock. Once contacted, they responded immediately thus saving me from the hassle of going through a TAM (Technical Account Manager). Last but not the least, at PCCare247; the professionals were more than ready to do a “warm handoff” to the TOC. A situation wherein I observed the client waits on the phone until the vendor is available rather than making a client wait for a call back, essentially combining a number of facets which go a long way towards providing seamless customer service experience.

Take Your Efficiency Higher with PCCare247’s Microsoft Support Services

Round-the-clock Microsoft support services can go a long way towards taking your efficiency to the next level. But then as they also tend to say prevention is better than cure; PCCare247 has come up with its own set of pointers which can go a long way towards guaranteeing the safety of data stored on your PC as well as enhancing its security. To start with:Microsoft Support Services

•    Work closely with the IT guys
At the end of the day working closely with the IT guys really pays off. Installation of patches and updates recommended by the IT department can go a long towards enhancing the operational capability of your system. To further add to it, IT professionals may even recommend the installation of security software such as a firewall or custom software to keep your PC as well as company’s network as secure as possible.

•    Using unconventional passwords
Passwords are a PC user’s first line of defense against attackers trying to hack into your system. Passwords made by combining characters such as words and numbers are potentially your best bet against all malicious elements. On the other hand users should also take care to ensure they are not using the save password option which could only end up making things easier for a hacker.

•    Network resources in lieu of local ones
Putting files and folders on the network is a much better option than compared to accessing the same on local folders. Moreover, care should be taken to ensure the access to such files on the network is given only to those who are authorized to view them.

•    Encryption of files or data containing confidential information
Any Microsoft support professional will tell you that encryption of files to be transmitted over the network is the best way to keep them secure. Using the Encrypting File System (EFS) one can successfully end up encrypting files and folders safely on Windows Vista as well as Windows XP.

•    Utilizing the junk email filter
PC users can take advantage of the junk email filter in Outlook to segregate spam or junk mail from the relevant ones. Further, using the filter also ends up ensuring potentially harmful mails containing viruses are kept in a secure location. Something that tends working well towards negating threats which an infected mail might end up posing to the system.

However, if still PC users feel their systems are vulnerable to threats they can get touch with PCCare247 round-the-clock. The premier microsoft support entity with its highly professional and brilliant team of professionals would be anything but more than happy to oblige.

24x7 Network Support from PCCare247 Acts as an Ideal Foil against Malware

Network Support
More than ever before networks are increasingly being threatened by malware. And it really seems in the near future the MIPS (Million Instructions per Second) platform acting at the core of a majority of network equipments is bound to face a huge onslaught.  Wherein, cyber criminals are all geared up to inflict heavy damage on the platform which in its nascent stages and to a certain extent is incapable of putting up credible defense. Rationale which only further makes it imperative for one to look at reasons making a malware an ultimate nemesis for a network.

Reasons to opt for expert network support

There can be many reasons to opt for expert network support of a premier tech support provider. But just then to drive home the point mentioning the most pivotal of such reasons might keep one in good shape. Starting with:

  • Prevalence:  A good majority of PC users have devices such as ADSL modem or a Wi-Fi router provided by their ISP provider. Equipment coming in good towards allowing PC users to share their internet connection between laptops, desktops, tablets and devices. But then again at the same time also making them susceptible to malware.

  •  Failure of on-hand solutions: Malware can often lurk on network devices as no one gives a second thought about their security. Further, making it highly impossible for conventional anti-virus solutions to go on and detect them.

  • Highly susceptible and easy to target: Vulnerable in their orientation and with many users unaware about the intricacies of MIPS devices, a majority of them are anything but an easy prey for cyber criminals.

  • Easy and Constant Access:  A good number of MIPS devices are rarely rebooted or powered down making them an easy access for cyber criminals.

  • Constant Control of the network: Attackers can take control of a network 24x7 and monitor sensitive information being sent to and from.

  • Heavy DNS Redirections: Cyber criminals often resort to changing the IP addresses of DNS servers which may further lead to transparent redirection to the malicious or phishing sites of all hosts on a network.

Well, at the end of the day very well leading us to a conclusion an average home user with little or no knowledge of network security has almost no chance of detecting the malware. And thus for such users for  tiding over any contingency would mean going in for expert network support from anything but the most sought after premier tech support provider such as PCCare247.

Network Support Goes Well Beyond the Ordinary with PCCare247

It surely goes without saying the most prominent chink in an IT security chain is the user itself. Truly, an ideology that at the end of the day also holds true for network threats as well as devices. Thus, bringing to light as to why highly trained and competent professionals are the need of the hour for providing expert network support round-the-clock.

Correlation between network support and an enterprise
Corporate big-wigs boasting of a huge number of employees tend to rely on expensive professional networking equipment and highly trained professionals to provide network support. But the scenario totally becomes different for those enterprises where the workstations come down to meager 10-15 nodes. Let alone hiring network support professionals even buying expensive network equipment is anything but a far-fetched proposition.

And if that’s not all while going on t a residential front and expecting a home user to possess knowledge about network management and equipment such as routers and hubs in all probability would be nothing less of a joke.

The Smaller, the Better
Network devices the smaller the better they are. All one needs to do is to just go ahead and plug them into a network. But then again the question cropping up would be as to how secure the default settings of such network devices are. And are they really worth using without tweaking their default configurations? Well, in most cases the answer would be a big resounding NO! Since, such devices can pose a big threat to the security because the passwords are not all that difficult to crack. Further, the manufacturer also may go ahead and enable remote administration by default or even create a hidden administrative account that can be used by technical support.

On the other hand most of the current modern household routers are UPnP-enabled which essentially means one has the opportunity to change router settings sans any authentication. Presenting an opportunity wherein it becomes very easy to go on and take control of non-technical users as well as careless professionals.

Unfortunately, as the scenario is even the most attentive of users cannot make a guarantee towards making their equipment 100% secure. Thus, a point wherein it may be argued network support provided by some of the best professionals in the IT industry is the only way out.  Again one of those situations which to say the very least is tailor-made for an organization such as PCCare247.

For a person not so apt with computing, the image associated with a malware is often on the lines of a maniacally laughing face, flashing lights, and yes the sudden demise of a computer. Leading one to simply argue indeed the flights of imagination are indeed off target from reality. However, if a reality check is to be done then it is indeed true there are viruses, Trojan horses and worms which can tear through a computer or a network and bring complete mayhem.  Computer Malware Removal

Definition of a Malware

Viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spyware, adware, root kits, spam and more are all considered to be malware and none of them do any good. Wherein, some types of malware are more annoying than damaging and computer malware removal becomes more of a necessity for ensuring integrity of data.

Since, at the end of the day the forthright objective of creators of such programs is way well beyond the destruction of data. Rather their motive is to either leverage information from a PC or possibly take control of it altogether. In a way, the relationship between a computer and malware tends to be more parasitic than outright destructive.

Seek expert help well within time

The “World Wide Web” is a treasure trove of online PC tech support providers who are willing to provide you expert help with regards to computer malware removal. Coming up on top of this list is an organization such as PCCare247, home to an army of highly trained and proficient technical experts, the company is always willing to act as an ideal foil for any issues concerning Malware, Bugs, Trojans and Viruses.

Remote Computer Support becomes a De Facto Standard

Technical support has always boasted of different connotations for PC users ever since the creation of the gadget. Giving way to a scenario where it is an expectation that right kind of technical support can make a huge difference in the daily routine of users. For gone are the days when PC users would throng a repair shop or ask a technician for a home visit.  Both alternatives if one were to consider seriously would end up burning a hole in the pocket of any computer user.

Professionals lend you a helping hand from far and across

With working professionals finding it hard to get hold of a local PC technician due to time constraints and exorbitant service charges, the need for techies specializing in the field of remote computer support has become ever so evident. A service meant to bridge gaps not only across time zones but as well as geographical locations. Allowing professionals to take hold of a PC and resolving any issues on a round-the-clock basis.

But then again even though considered as a method transcending geographical limitations with effortless ease, remote computer support as an error resolving mechanism demands a great degree of high end expertise. Skills one would only expect only from techies possessing a great degree of knowledge and technical acumen. Truly, a case in point wherein remote computer support professionals from companies such as PCCare247 really are considered to be the best in the business. For at the end of the day they boast of high-end knowledge and expertise which would enable a PC user to tide over any contingency with effortless ease. Yet, at the same time also allowing PC manufacturers to save time and money which otherwise would be wasted if techies were to embark on a home visit every now and then.

Identity Theft

Five Simple Ways to Protect Yourself
Identity theft has been around forever. Even in ancient times, impersonators would pretend to be someone they were not – a prince, a long-lost heir to a great fortune, a merchant who had died at sea. The Internet has made the theft much easier. A hack here, a lost flash drive there, and tens of thousands of people can find themselves with false credit-card charges or drained bank accounts. In 2008 alone, 10 million Americans had their identity stolen. Here are five practical tips to keep your identity safe:

1. Make better passwords

We've been told to create better passwords for years, but many of us are still not following the advice. Check right now: Are you guilty of using the same password again and again, or a very simple password?

The first rule of passwords is not to use the same password over and over. You really do need at least a slightly different password for every account you have.

Second, don't use a password that anyone who knows you could easily guess. For example, if you love the Atlanta Braves baseball team, don't make your password “braves.” Don't use your own name, your children's names, or your pet's name – these passwords are very easy to guess. Some viruses are programmed to hack into systems by trying one by one all the most commonly used passwords. If you've ever used the password “admin,” or a first name, you'll understand why this method of hacking is still successful.

If you do want to use your favorite baseball team, your child's name, or your hero's name for your password, make it harder to guess. “Braves”, for example, could easily be turned into “br@v35.” Try replacing “a” with an @ sign, “e” with a 3, “s” with a 5, and so forth – whatever makes sense for you.

Then there's the problem of having multiple passwords. Instead of trying to remember thirty different passwords, create a core password, such as “br@v35,” then modify it slightly for each use in a way that you can remember. Your email password might be “ebr@v35,” where the “e” stands for “email.” If you bank with ABC Bank, your online banking password could be “ABCbr@v35." For someone trying to guess your password based on a few facts that they know about you, or for programs trying random words, your password will be very difficult to guess.

By using the method mentioned above, you can create a unique password for every account you have, yet you'll be able to remember each one without having to write it down.

2. Delete email containing passwords

You know how when you sign up for a new service, the company often emails you to say, “Your user ID is such-and-such, and your password is ABC”? Well, one way hackers learn our passwords is to hack our email account, then look around to find emails with passwords in them.

Don't ever email yourself your passwords. If you feel you won't be able to remember your user ID and password, write it down in a notebook you keep in a secure place, but delete the email with the information in it.

Additionally, if you get a randomly assigned password, change it right away to a variation of

3. Do the same with PINs

Your PINs, just like your passwords, should be hard to guess. If you use some easy-to-guess number, an identity thief will surely thank you for making his or her job easier.

4. Protect the computer itself

With so many laptop computers being stolen, it's not just transactions online you need to worry about, it's your computer itself. Do you store sensitive information in your computer, such as a file with all your passwords in it? If you do, you need to password protect your computer and encrypt your files.

In Windows, encrypt a file by right-clicking on it and choosing “Properties”. Under the “General” tab, click “Advanced” at the bottom. Then click “Encrypt contents to secure data” and click “OK.”

5. Shred or burn sensitive documents

Some people still engage in the old-fashioned form of identity theft: dumpster diving. Sifting through your trash, they look for documents with identifying information in it – with a Social Security number here and a bank account number there, they can steal your identity. Prevent this from happening by shredding or burning any documents with personal information on it before you throw it away.
